Our values...

Marc-Antoine Barrois is born in a textile industry family from the north of France. Very early he becomes admiring of his grandfather’s elegance that remember keeps being a model for him. Today resuming the equation between Marc-Antoine Barrois and fashion may be a quite easy task as well as a sharper one if we consider that he keeps going back to the origin of luxury without ostentation and with delicacy.
The good manner would be a good definition of his designs. Perfection of shape to flatter the body without coercion, comfort, nobility of exceptional fabrics, leathers and exotic skins make each design not only a rare garment but a piece of exception.
This enthusiasm about beauty is exhibit for the first time in 2004 when he takes part to the 11th European Fashion Designer Award. There he meets Dominique Sirop who offers him a job. Quickly Marc-Antoine Barrois becomes first assistant and learns there all the tricks of Haute Couture before to join other talented designers for new experiences.
That is how he joined Hermès to work with Jean-Paul Gaultier. Then Jean-Claude Jitrois takes on his talent to work on his men’s collections. Those experiences as prestigious as instructive form his style that becomes his signature.
January 2006 is the beginning of another adventure. With the support of his masters he presents a collection of experimental couture. Designing for the first time under his own label, Marc-Antoine Barrois execute one of his dreams. In 2007, he designs two other collections all presented in the most glamorous events he organises in Lille, privatising the most beautiful monuments.
Life is also an story of people meeting… When Marc-Antoine Barrois comes back from Milan in 2008, he meets Olivier Boileau Descamps. Both are fond of elegance and refinement. From then they keep thinking of common projects and a very rich collaboration borns. The energy of one combined with the talent of the other. They inaugurate their house of fashion in 2009.
New constellation in the fashion galaxy, MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS, offers a Haute-Couture service exclusively for men. Going back to the DNA of French luxury is the gamble of this young house of fashion. Throughout the seasons, the aim is to suggest a silhouette, a spirit, that will be custom tailored for his clients who are seeking for unique pieces.

Once again, Marie-Christiane MAREK has managed the crazy project of bringing together 37 designers to create each a unique Christmas tree.
Directed by Maître Hervé Poulain, the auction has been a success. Funds raised were promised to the professor KAYAT’s association "AVEC" against the cancer.
It was a pleasure for our artistic director, Marc-Antoine BARROIS, to design this Christmas tree "doudou" as a cuddly toy made of plongé lambskin (Bodin-Joyeux), cashmere and saphir royal mink (Saga Fur).
